| It has been an exciting year for ARSA thus far, as it has been able to create several signifcant partnerships with local, national and international organizations. ARSA is proud to announce that the long wait for a professional soccer franchise in the Rio Grande Valley is finally over. The USL and ARSA have teamed up to bring the RGV its first professional franchise. |

| ARSA has acquired the rights to a Premier Development League (PDL) team. ARSA's exclusive territory agreement with the USL encompasses a four (4) county territory that includes: Starr, Hidalgo, Willacy and Cameron counties. See map below. The franchise is currently searching for the team's first technical director (head coach) and will begin open tryouts in January 2009. These tryouts will be open to players from both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border. |
